What's coming

Well..... there's The yearly beer festival at the Capel hotel over the May bank holiday weekend, with Tudor and Joy and you can expect another wide range of quality Ales, as there is every year.  But, please........... Don't blame them if you get a hangover from drinking (sorry tasting) to many.

There is once more ROAD chaos in the streets of Bargoed.  They're digging up the area for alterations directly in front of

We know it's not they're fault, we've only used them as a marker to where the work is being carried out.

Additional attractions throughout the day.

Loads of traffic.  The traditional sounds of the varied characters as they shout at the idiot who's parked right in front of the lights, causing the traffic flow to come to a standstill again.  The reply is usually less than polite with a few, shall we say blue words, but it also usually includes the words "I only popped into the bank for a minute"

The Cone party artists.  Twisting and turning, occasionally banging, but always parking on the area that's been coned off to allow the cars to at least attempt to flow through the congested streets of Bargoed.  If their caught by the traffic warden, you can hear them say: "what cones" or "I didn't see them" and my favourite of them all must be: "they weren't there when I parked"  It just adds to the amusement of children young and old.  So, come to Bargoed and see the cone party idiots in action, you won't believe your eyes.
